ahhh buon cumpleanno

it was my host brother's birthday last thursday, march 10. gaaaah, host brother - a title which is in total pretense of our platonic relationship. i texted him, of course, with my usual sarcasm and attempt to sound cute and annoying at the same time. he replied a few hours later, probably as soon as he woke up and saw the message. his reply was not the usual biting comeback of playful teasing. it was different and he rarely sends me messages like that... which made me feel both uncomfortable and special.

in short, kinilig ang keps ko. *hay* pero hanggang kilig lang. whaaa stop thinking about it already! stop thinking about him.


so, ano na ba. candice left tonight, like right now, or maybe a little earlier. bea's leaving in less than two weeks. monica's leaving in june. maita's leaving in... hmm, sometime near the end of the year. i don't like being left behind.

i've been spending time with old friends recently. ngayon ko lang talaga naga-grasp na nung friendships that i have with those people ay one of the best in my entire life. hindi naman kami sobrang close, na tipong lahat nalang ng secreto kailangan alam about each other. pero sila nung makakasama mo and alam mong hindi ka mamasamain. meron kasing factor ng "shared field of experience" (yeah i learned that from speech comm). it's this unspoken bond between people, and once you share a field of experience, there is a connection. eh mejo marami kaming shared fields of experience, kaya if i do the math (or the logic, which is the more correct term for it), mas matibay ang connection namin dibah?


on to other news, may bago akong idea for this blog (oo, gusto ko kasi may theme and mga blog ko. ie.
1) LJ: dominantly in english, my favorite blog with my latest insights and adventures. basically my default blog, to put it one way.
2) XANGA: i made up a term. photo-etry. can you guess what it means? duh, that's a pretty lame term, i know, but i like it and it stuck. so yeah, i express what i'm recently feeling through pictures that i take and, uh,.. yeah, words. wow, now you wonder how i do that because i hardly sound articulate right now.
3) BLURTY: my creative writing assignments. it was originally designed to be my jologs journal, but then it transformed by itself. its layout is pink, too. it got me thinking it can't be jologs if it's pink. in one entry i wrote - "jologs is brown."
4) GREATESTJOURNAL: created to take advantage of the free photo hosting. eventually turned into my thesis journal, because i don't want to flood my LJ with thesis shit. then again, the process is great to look back on.
5) BLOGSPOT: well, it's this one.) <---- haba nung parenthesis na yun ah, i almost forgot to close it.

so yeah, eto na ang kapalit ng blurty to be the "jologs journal".


pinanood ko nung "Ballet Philippines Neo Filipino: Playing Maestro Ryan" kagabi. compli tickets from chang, direct from sir ryan. so, we sat beside him, in prime orchestra seats, row Q where the national artists are usually seated. in keeping with the ka-jologan theme, hindi ko iki-critique ang show dito. pero merno akong i-popost na pictures haha.

wala akong make-up kagabi, thus, kitang-kita ang eyebags ko. actually, kahit anong gawin ko, nakikita siya, pwera sa malayo. sabi nga ng isang theatre friend ko nung pumasok ako sa dressing room noon, "hoy! may pumasok na may maleta!"
